The ANOC World Beach Games Qualifier in the North and Central America and Caribbean region took place from 6th to 10th April, with El Salvador (host of the tournament) and United States of America securing their places both with its male and female teams.
In the woman’s decision at Estádio Nacional Costa del Sol, in El Salvador, the home team beats USA by 5-4 in a nerve-wrecking final. Fatima Pérez (ESA) was the tournament’s best player, while Melissa Lowder (USA) took the best goalkeeper award and Irma Cordero (ESA) topped the goalscoring charts.
Among the men, the United States of America are the new winners of the ANOC World Beach Games Qualifier as they defeated the 2019 runners-up El Salvador at the with a scoreline of 4-2. Silveira (USA) was the MVP, Chris Toth (USA) the best goalkeeper, while Canale (USA), Pacheco (CRC) and Ramos (ESA) won the top goalscorer award as they all netted four goals.
